Michael Adamczyk, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services of Troy Public Schools was installed as the 72nd MSBO President at the MSBO Annual Conference.
Once again, MSBO teamed up with ASBO to use their online voting system. The total votes cast were 828. The online voting system enabled MSBO to save money and permitted all active members to vote.
MSBO President-Elect, Darcie Birkett, Assistant Superintendent of Business Services of Ottawa Area Intermediate School District was elected. Five candidates were nominated to run for four open 3-year terms. MSBO members re-elected Mitch Bart, Director of Facilities/Purchasing of Kent Intermediate School District, Angie McArthur, Business Administrator/Elementary Coordinator of Engadine Consolidated Schools. Members also elected Dan Romzek, Finance/Operations Director of Davison Community Schools, and Cheryl Wald, Supervisor Financial Services of Howell Public Schools. Thomas S. Wall, Asst. Supt of Administrative Services rounded out the ballot.
Brenda Voutyras, Senior Vice President & Manager at Stifel Nicolaus & Company was appointed by the board to serve as Associate Member Representative.
