It seems that everyone is talking about March Madness these days. There is incredible focus on basketball, brackets and more basketball. The MHSAA Finals have been played, and the NCAA bracket is in full swing. Our legislators have just broken for two weeks to enjoy the spring break.
The alarm sounds and you reluctantly wake. The start of another day, you sleepily go through the routine of getting ready and you head out the door to maneuver your way through the maze of traffic. You arrive at work, greet your peers and begin to tackle the tasks of your day.
The second phase of this year’s MSBO Bus Purchasing Program will be available for use on April 1, 2013. The program will remain open and prices will remain valid through July 31, 2013.

MSBO’s 75th Annual Conference is fast approaching, which means if you registered as part of the Early Bird program or the scholarship program, you still need to complete your registration by going online and telling us which clinic sessions you plan on attending or faxing the registration form to the MSBO office.
School districts are still trying to figure out how to comply with regulatory changes to school lunch nutritional components. Breakfast changes are right around the corner, along with new rules regarding competitive food sales. This all has significant impact on how we deliver school meals.

I have recently returned from ASBO International’s Executive Leadership Forum. The intention of this forum is to bring together leaders in the school business management community to share hands-on experiences and show best practices that will enhance their school districts’ business practices.
